Chief Executive Officer & Managing Partner – Melanie TheriacMelanie founded Medical Staffing Solutions in 2001 and has served as CEO since our inception. Before starting Medical Staffing Solutions, Melanie was a floor nurse who took great pride in providing the highest level of patient care. Melanie’s guiding principles are operating her business in an ethical manner and enhancing our reputation for integrity, which in turn helps us attract and retain both customers and employees. She is responsible for the strategy, management and growth of MSS, and has developed the company into a leader in the healthcare staffing industry. |
Chief Operating Officer & Managing Partner - Joan RussellJoanie has served as COO and Managing Partner with Medical Staffing Solutions since 2003. She is responsible for cultivating the relationships with our clients and our employees, and assuring customer success and satisfaction. Joanie believes integrity is the cornerstone expectation that customers, employees and the public demand of us, and she manages our business with the requirement that everyone associated with Medical Staffing Solutions observe the highest ethical standards. Having obtained her BSN, Joanie brings over 20 years of experience as a nurse and serves as clinical liaison to our employees. She has worked the units and understands what is needed to provide exceptional patient care. |
Vice President of Business Operations - Brent DenboBrent’s primary objective is to ensure that our customers and our employees achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. His guiding principles are communication, trust, and fairness, creating a challenging environment with opportunity for growth. Leading by example and treating people as individuals, Brent believes in hiring the very best people and emphasizes a focus on goals by communicating expectations effectively. With over 15 years of experience in the staffing industry, Brent is responsible for providing the overall direction and guidance to MSS business activities with the objective of maximizing growth and profitability. He provides day-to-day direction and management to all business unit operations as well as strong leadership in mentoring and guidance to the MSS team. |

Therapy Recruiter – Libby MasonLibby has been with Medical Staffing Solutions since our inception. She is primarily responsible for the therapy practice, including recruitment, sales, and employee relations of our professional therapists. Libby’s expert therapy knowledge and customer service driven personality make working with her a pleasure. She is happy to work with OT’s, COTA’s, PT’s, PTA’s, ST’s & SLP’s who are interested in finding travel contracts or just want to pick up an occasional PRN shift. Additionally, she works closely with our client facilities who are in need of therapy staffing services. |
Scheduling Manager - Jana MitchellOur schedulers are the front line for Medical Staffing Solutions and deal extensively with our customers and our employees 24 x 7 x 365. As Scheduling Manager, Jana brings a tireless nature and remarkable work ethic, striving to satisfy every customer and employee while achieving the highest level of customer service. As leader of the scheduling team, Jana ensures responsibility for coordinating schedules for our clients and the placement of our employees at healthcare facilities across the nation. |
Human Resource Manager – Darci RobertsDarci is the primary contact for questions about company policy, benefits, personnel records, grievances, licensing, or any other HR related issues. Darci has the knowledge in answering your questions about licensing requirements and the benefits we offer, and will help you get the most out of our programs, including health insurance and our retirement plan. |
Accounting Manager – Jeremy WannJeremy is the primary contact for questions about payroll; and is committed to providing you with excellent service on accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and any other accounting issues you may have. Additionally, Jeremy can provide you with all the documents necessary for taking advantage of various tax deductions. |
