Melanie Theriac, RN – Founder, CEO & Managing Partner
Melanie founded Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC in 2001 and has served as CEO since our inception. Before starting MSS, Melanie was a floor nurse who took great pride in providing the highest level of patient care.
Melanie’s guiding principles are operating her business in an ethical manner and enhancing our reputation for integrity, which in turn helps us attract and retain both customers and employees. She is responsible for the strategy, management and growth of MSS, and has developed the company into a leader in the healthcare staffing industry.
Joan Reneer, RN, BSN – COO & Managing Partner
Joining Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC 2003, Joanie maintains responsibility for cultivating the relationships with our clients and our employees, and assuring customer success and satisfaction.
Joanie believes integrity is the cornerstone expectation that customers, employees and the public demand of us, and she manages our business with the requirement that everyone associated with Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC observe the highest ethical standards. Having obtained her BSN, Joanie brings over 20 years of experience as a nurse and serves as clinical liaison to our employees. She has worked the units and understands what is needed to provide exceptional patient care
Jeremy Wann – Accounting Manager
A graduate of Indiana University Southeast, Jeremy brings a structured and organized approach and comprehensive knowledge of accounting practices to the Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC team. His tremendous attention to detail makes Jeremy one of MSS’s most reliable and dependable employees.
Jeremy serves as the primary contact for questions about payroll; and is committed to providing our customers with excellent service on accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and any other accounting issues that may arise.
Dana Dietsch – VP of Clinical Services
Dana joined the MSS Team in July of 2013. She bring over 18 years of experience between serving as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and a Registered Nurse. Dana has worked in a multitude of healthcare settings such as hospital, long term care, durable medical and home health.
Beth Schnell, LPN – Human Resources & Scheduling Director
Beth served as an LPN for 16 years before joining Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC as Lead Scheduler. Beth and her scheduling team are the front line for MSS PRN business, and deal extensively with our customers and our employees 24 x 7 x 365, coordinating schedules for our clients and the placement of our employees at healthcare facilities.
As an LPN who has worked the floors for over 15 years, Beth has a unique understanding of what is needed to provide exceptional customer service and candidate relations. Beth and her team are extremely professional and client focused; and they strive to satisfy every customer and employee while achieving the highest level of customer service. Beth’s relentless pursuit towards scheduling every shift makes her one of the best schedulers in the industry.
Jana Mitchell – Senior Healthcare Recruiter
After earning her degree from Indiana State University and working in the sales industry, Jana joined Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC in 2005 and has served in various key roles for the company, performing as a “star” in every position she has assumed.
As Senior Recruiter, Jana leverages her vast network of healthcare industry connections to recruit and retain some of the best and brightest travel nurses in the industry. Nurses love working with Jana because of her warm and infectious personality and her ability to listen to the needs of her candidates. Stacy Mathie – Healthcare Recruiter
Stacy joined the Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC Staff in November of 2012, where she is responsible for building relationships with both our clients and candidates as an Allied Health Recruiter. She prides herself in matching the right candidate with the right job placement. Stacy brings 7 years of Human Resource experience from different diverse industries, with the last 5 years concentrating on full cycle recruiting and staffing both permanent and temporary positions.
Tate Bailey – Healthcare Recruiter
Tate joined the Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC staff in April of 2013, where he is responsible for building long lasting relationships with all Healthcare Professionals. It is very important to Tate to continue to foster those relationships and advise them while finding their next career opportunity. Tate views every possible placement as a “fun little puzzle”. He brings 10 years of previous full-cycle recruiting experience from the healthcare field.
Katie joined Medical Staffing Solutions in 2007 as a staff Registered Nurse in the Evansville area. She acquired the role of Clinical Manager in our Evansville office in 2013. Katie’s background is in Emergency Room, LTAC and long-term care management. Katie is responsible for conducting interviews with travel staff and collaborating with recruiters to place qualified healthcare providers with our many facilities across the U.S.
John Herron, LPN – Clinical Manager, Central Indiana
John joined Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC in December 2012. John worked as a staff nurse in the Lafayette, IN area until July 2013 when he acquired the role of District Clinical Manager. John is responsible for providing administrative leadership in the office while acting as liaison between our employees and clients. In addition, John is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Nurses and Certified Nurse Assistants in the Lafayette area. John is excited about his new role as Clinical Manager, and will strive to fulfill the needs of our employees and clients with outstanding customer service.
Michelle Barker- Staffing Specialist
Michelle joined Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC as a Staffing Specialist in August 2013 where she is responsible for obtaining client requests for staffing needs and filling them efficiently, maintaining schedules and employee availability, and upholding high-level customer service and communication with both internal and external contacts. Michelle brings over nine years of professional experience in client service and team scheduling, and she applies her meticulous attention to details with a results-oriented approach to every assignment.
Natalie Bickett – Office Manager & Staffing Specialist, Lafayette Indiana
Natalie joined Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC in September 2012 as the staffing specialist of the Lafayette office where she organizes and prepares work schedules for employees to ensure the appropriate amount of staff is available for our clients. In July of 2013, Natalie took upon the role of office manager where she continues to serve as the lead scheduler of the Lafayette area while working side-by-side with our clinical manager to provide administrative leadership for the Lafayette office. Natalie has over 10 years of professional experience in office administration with an emphasis on scheduling, employee relations, team building, and customer service.

Joel Montgomery – HR Specialist, Travel Division
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Health Services from the University of Southern Indiana, Joel spent the next four years working in medical and customer service fields. His professional attitude paired with a strong work ethic makes him the ideal person to assist our employees and customers in the on-boarding process.
Juanita joined Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC in November of 2013. She has previous professional experience in Accounting and Human Resources and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management and Organization Management from Oakland City University in 2012. She is responsible for the credentialing and travel needs of our employees. Juanita is eager and exited to work with you and build a great working relationship!
Holly Brittingham – Accounting / Payroll Associate
Holly joined the Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC team in August of 2013. She brings over 7 years of Payroll and Accounting experience from the retail and staffing industries. She previously studied at Ivy Tech Community College and is currently attending WGU to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Holly will be responsible for the weekly Payroll processing, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable procedures. She will assist the Accounting Manage with any questions or concerns that may arise within the accounting department.
Zach Schnell – IT Specialist
Zach joined the MSS team in May of 2013. He has the important task of managing and uploading the constant flow of new travel needs into our medical management computer system. He is a diligent worker, always maintains a positive attitude, and is a joy to have around the office.
Taylor Schlottman – Administrative Assistant
Taylor’s professional background includes experience in administrative support, human resources, and employee relations. She is the friendly voice that will regularly answer the phone when you call in, and is tasked with leading the day to day administrative demands of the office. She believes that providing exceptional customer service is the cornerstone of a successful business, and will happily answer any questions you may have, or assist you in directing your call to the appropriate person. Taylor’s positive and friendly demeanor makes her a pleasure to work with during interviews and with the new employee on-boarding process.
